Tom Terronez

Chief Executive Officer

Tom Terronez is a hands-on leader in the dental technology industry, committed to helping practices reach their efficiency and IT security potential. Since founding two tech companies in the early 2000’s (Medix Dental and Terrostar Interactive Media), he has become a nationally respected and increasingly sought-after expert in his field. His mission to help practices mitigate risk, protect patients, and maximize overall success has allowed dentists all over the country to embrace a new type of technology partner.

Tom’s philosophy is best likened to Benjamin Franklin’s sentiment, “An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure.” Accordingly, he enjoys regularly educating prominent dental universities, associations, and societies about proactively combating the critical cybersecurity threats that face our time. His ability to explain these complex topics in an accessible and inclusive fashion has allowed him to connect with both novice and expert audiences alike. Still, Tom’s time in the classroom is not always spent leading; he has attended executive education programs at both Stanford and Dartmouth College.

Outside of work, Tom and his wife, Brooke, enjoy traveling and value strong civic engagement. They volunteer and serve on multiple not-for-profit boards, and regularly sponsor a wide variety of goodwill efforts within their community.

When Eric isn’t going above and beyond for clients, you’ll find him Frisbee golfing, making a mean breakfast burrito, or planning his next skydiving trip. Eric graduated from St. Ambrose University in 2004, where he majored in Finance and played a mean game of basketball. Eric became a co-owner of Medix Dental in 2016, and currently oversees our Des Moines, IA, office. Eric loves spending downtime with his wife Lindsay and their two dogs, Herky and Stanzi.

A man of many talents, Brent is our IT Service Coordinator out of Washington! These skills include (but are not limited to) walking on his hands, riding an 8’ tall unicycle while juggling (Ok, flex), and solving the eternal question that is technology.
Not a fan of vegetables, Brent is mainly fueled by the assorted coned, smoked, and grilled meats….with a side of eggs. When he’s not spending time with family or eating his protein, you can find him gaming with his newest alias/gamertag, the one and only FrodoPool.

Alex is a lover of key lime pie and blueberry waffles. He has a hard time choosing between Mexican and Italian food, so eating both is the only correct option. Alex’s background is in a variety of IT roles, starting out by doing hardware repair and moving onward to the software side of things. He loves to tinker and the fact that there is always something new to learn in the technology field.

Brandon Bunnelle

Brandon is an avid gamer and loves all things technology. When he isn’t playing sweet riffs on his guitar, he is enjoying his time playing with his kiddos and wife. His nerdiest quality is that he likes to stream Runescape on Twitch. Something you might not know about Brandon by looking at him is that he used to play guitar and sing in front of 2,500 people every Sunday morning at church.

Brandon started out in IT helping nurses with their computers and training nurses on the software they would use to document patient care. He then moved on to becoming an IT Administrator for a mid-sized company with 5 locations in Ohio and Chicago. He was responsible for everything from end-user desktops, servers, to networking and configuration.

It's challenging and fun. I think if you dig deeper than technology, you would find that I am a huge problem solver and I just happened to latch onto the tech industry enjoying the wide range of potential issues that might arise.

I met my husband online in a Yahoo chat room called 20 Somethings. Internet dating was so not a thing back then. He surprised me after about a month of talking, by showing up in my town to meet me in person. After that, we took turns making the trip for a few weekends until he told me to either move in with him or it wouldn't work so far away. 3 days later, we were living together and have been together ever since!

A man of the outdoors, Logan LaBree is our IT Support Specialist. A former boy scout, Logan was raised to fish and hunt. I think it’s safe to say he would be an ideal candidate for Survivor, as he would bring a knife, rubber tubing, and a pot, if stranded on an island.
On the other side, Logan loves technology due to its ever-changing nature, the fun of its continuous novelty, as well as being raised around it… Talk about balance!
