If you only make 3 improvements to your practice this year, ensure your time and effort create a strong impact. Straight from our nerd headquarters, these resolutions pack the biggest punch for the security and integrity of your practice.

1. Step Up Staff Education

If you don’t already have a staff education initiative in place, it can seem a daunting project. But take it from us, implementing a recurring staff education program is easy to set up, and provides important benefits to your practice. Read our Staff Education How-To Guide to get started.

2. Purge Old IT Equipment

Out with the old, in with the new! Your staff will be the first to tell you: Old workstations that perform slowly greatly undermine practice productivity and efficiency; causing your staff and patients to wait in frustration.  While we always prioritize the longevity of your IT investments, it’s important to realize the tipping point when keeping old equipment no longer saves you money. 3. Prioritize Compliance

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, it’s time to get serious about compliance! Dental and specialty practices are prime targets for hackers due to the mass amounts of sensitive personal information housed (often unprotected and easy to access). Tackling compliance can be overwhelming, but it’s well worth the effort to avoid these nightmare scenarios or a spot on the HIPAA Wall of Shame. We’re happy to help answer any questions as you continue strengthening practice protections.

Our team is wishing you a Happy New Year, and we hope to help make it your most productive and secure year to date. As always, let us know if you have any questions in your quest to improve IT and cybersecurity!
